Come join us, and roll off some Turkey, for a very casual Cranksgiving group ride hosted by Monkey Rents bike rentals.
The ride will start Sunday, Dec 1 starting just after 9 am from 1708 Frederica Rd, St Simons Island, Georgia, and we’ll be passing through the village around 9:20 am in case riders want to join from the village. Coffee will be available at 8:30 am at the Frederica location. Our 8.9 mi route follows demere, to Mallery Street, past Mallery Park and Monkeyrents (215 Mallery Street). From the Village, we’ll ride by the pool and lighthouse, and follow, beach side streets to King and Prince, and then follow ocean blvd. to Goulds inlet. The way back follows marshside East Beach to the causeway, and Demere/Old Demere back to neighborhoods and to Monkeywrench.
The ride will be at a casual pace of 8-10 mph, with stops along the way, and coffee available before and after the ride.
